Whether you’re touring the nationally acclaimed KATY Trail state park, getting in touch with Missouri’s history, or just seeking fun things to see and do in the heartland, Boonville has a lot to offer. Visit the Boonville tourism website to plan your trip.

Our historic roots are deep. In fact, people have been visiting the area since well before Lewis and Clarrk ascended the Missouri River more that 200 years ago. One of the first land battles of the Civil War was fought just outside of Boonville, and more than 450 local properties are listed on the National Register of Historic Sites.

But there’s much more to Boonville than history. We enjoy a lively and stimulating cultural scene combined with the charm and hospitality of a small town. Our close proximity to St. Louis, Kansas City, Columbia, and Lake of the Ozarks makes us the perfect anchor for hub trips. Our abundance of hotels and bed and breakfast inns ensure that your visit will be as comfortable as it is memorable.

Boonville offers some of the most diverse cultural, artistic, and recreational opportunities in the area, with eight major festivals and many smaller events. Our Missouri River Festival of the Arts is the longest running performing arts festival in the state and our Big Muddy Folk Festival is a perennial favorite. We have one of the finest parks systems in the state and families will appreciate knowing that Boonville is a very kid-friendly community.

Boonville lures you with its relaxed charm. The experience will bring you back.
