The access management manual provides information and guidance on the planning and design of access points to public roadways; for example median breaks, private driveways, and intersections between roads. The goals of uniform access management standards are: improved roadway safety, improved traffic operations, protect the tax payers investment in roadways, and create better conditions for non-automobile standards.
