and an amended
Katy Bridge Memorandum of Agreement
(MOA) are now available in the download center. The 2008 resolution explains Councils support of the Bridge. The MOA is currently under consideration by City Council. It is anticipated that the council will have a final reading regarding the Katy Bridge MOA on May 16.
Historic Preservation
Boonville is steeped in history, with over 400 sites and buildings listed on the National Historic Register and one local historic district. A map of Boonville's historic districts is available in the download center.
For information about state historic preservation tax credits, visit the
Missouri State Historic Preservation Office
- they can provide you with forms and information. The
National Historic Register
is also available online. The National Park Service is currently digitizing the National Register, so complete information may not be available. Additionally, the
Friends of Historic Boonville
holds archival records on historic properties and sites in the area.
Available in the download center is a historic home packet for Realtors and new homeowners, with information on state tax credits, zoning maps, frequently asked questions about National and local historic registers, and a brief architectural guide.
If you are interested in preserving or rehabilitating your historic structure, the Boonville Historic Preservation Advisory Commission will gladly assist you with information and design guidelines. Contact
Kate Fjell
at City Hall for assistance.
